Acceptable Use Policy

Last updated: April 18, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") governs your use of the HurryUpLocal platform. By using the Platform, you agree to comply with this AUP. Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

1. Prohibited Deal Content

You may not post Deals that involve, promote, or relate to: (a) illegal goods or services of any kind; (b) tobacco, alcohol, or cannabis products in jurisdictions where advertising such products is restricted; (c) firearms, ammunition, or weapons; (d) adult content, escort services, or sexually explicit material; (e) gambling or games of chance without proper licensing; (f) multi-level marketing or pyramid schemes; (g) counterfeit, stolen, or fraudulently obtained goods; (h) medical or health claims that are unsubstantiated or that could constitute the practice of medicine; or (i) any product or service that is the subject of a government recall or safety warning.

2. Accuracy and Honesty

All Deal content must be accurate and not misleading. You must: (a) honor the terms of every Deal you publish for the duration of its active period; (b) not post a Deal if you do not have sufficient inventory or capacity to fulfill it; (c) not use bait-and-switch tactics; (d) clearly state any material conditions, exclusions, or limitations in the Deal description; and (e) not artificially inflate the "original price" to make a discount appear larger than it is. Violations of this section may constitute deceptive advertising under applicable consumer protection laws.

3. Prohibited Platform Conduct

You may not: (a) create multiple accounts to circumvent account suspensions or deal limits; (b) use automated tools, bots, or scrapers to access the Platform; (c) attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the Platform's source code; (d) interfere with or disrupt the Platform's servers, networks, or infrastructure; (e) harvest or collect other users' personal information without consent; (f) impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity; or (g) use the Platform to send unsolicited commercial communications to other users.

4. Legal Compliance

You are solely responsible for ensuring that your use of the Platform and all Deals you post comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws and regulations, including but not limited to: consumer protection and advertising laws (FTC Act, state UDAP statutes), food safety and health regulations, business licensing requirements, employment and labor laws, and applicable tax obligations. The Company does not provide legal advice and you should consult a qualified attorney regarding your specific compliance obligations.

5. Reporting Violations

If you believe a Deal or user is violating this AUP, please report it to [email protected]. We review all reports and will take appropriate action, which may include removing content, suspending accounts, or referring matters to law enforcement.

6. Enforcement

The Company reserves the right to enforce this AUP at its sole discretion. Enforcement actions may include content removal, account warnings, temporary suspension, permanent termination, and referral to law enforcement. The Company is not obligated to provide advance notice before taking enforcement action. Enforcement decisions are final.
